Mr. Johnny Cash really has some fantastic songs that can help get you in the Halloween spirit and Ghost Riders in the Sky is one of them. Sit back and imagine you're a cowboy out on the range. In October. Fighting the undead. Heck yeah.

We love this song... and Mr.Cash's version was my Mom's favorites...
ReplyDeleteI think the first time I ever heard this song was in Blues Brothers 2000, but Cash's is my favorite too. The man had a voice that made everything he sung sound 100% true.
DeleteI forget sometimes just how good his stuff was and how much of it I listened to as a kid around the house.
ReplyDeleteJohnny Cash is quite possibly my favorite musical artist. My dad played a bit of his stuff for me as a kid but I've come to appreciate it more as I've gotten older. I grew up outside of Nashville in the same city where Johnny lived, actually. His and June's funerals were held at the church I grew up in.
