31 Days of Toy Terror- Skeletober! Skeletor from Masters of the Universe: Micro Collection by Mattel

Who says you gotta be big to be terrifying? Today I'm checking out the minifigure Skeletor from Mattel's Masters of the Universe: Micro Collection which are Dollar Tree exclusives which can be yours for the low price of just $1! I reviewed the other four figures in this series over the summer but I kept Skeletor back for the Halloween festivities! It's always a lot of fun to figure out some different and unique "horror" themed toys for 31 Days of Toy Terror and while this year is overflowing with Skeletor figures it was definitely a theme I knew I had enough toys to follow through with. Ready for a look at a tiny tibial terror that will tuck into your trick or treat tote? Then join me after the very scary break...

The Facts:

Height: 2 1/8ths inches

Articulation: None

Accessories: None

Non-Scalper Price: $1

The Positives:

* If you missed out on these earlier in the year these are simple plastic minifigures that are attached to a sculpted sand bearing the Masters of the Universe logo. They're quite solid and really have some nice paint detail on them. They're also quite vintage inspired and really look like miniaturized versions of the original toys. For $1 these are some very well made minifigures.

* I'm extremely impressed with the detail on Skeletor's armor, his Havoc staff, and his face. Seriously, his face is downright terrifying! Mattel did an excellent job with the details as you can even see the teeth and nose on his super small head. Seriously, those red eyes are quite menacing!

* There's not a ton of detail on the back but I do like how the straps and clasps for Skeletor's armor and his belt have all been sculpted. It's just a really fun detail that nicely pays homage to the original toy.
This is a pretty impressive Skeletor and the fact that he'll only cost you a buck just makes it all the better. Hopefully you can still grab these little guys as they're some of the coolest minifigures of the year and an incredible value. If I actually had Trick 'r Treaters come to my house I'd buy up quite a few of these and give them out alongside some candy bars. Wouldn't that be amazing? Skeletor is hands down the best figure in this set and he's an Epic little gem. 2021 has been one heck of a good year for Masters of the Universe stuff and while there have been some epicly huge Skeletors this little guys still stands out.

I've reviewed so many toys based on Skeletor/ Keldor that I've given him his own review archive. Check out Snake Mountain for a plethora of Skeletor reviews!
