This song has been covered so many times, most famously by John Fogerty, Annie Lennox, and the Sanderson Sisters, but the original version is just to classic. Written and performed by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, "I Put a Spell on You" is a spooky standard worth listening to every year.

We liked Bette Midler's version from "Hocus Pocus"..
ReplyDeleteSaw a video of Hawkins doing this song dressed as a tribal witchdoctor, some years back... good choice of song...!!
