Action Figure Review: White Walker from Game Of Thrones Action Vinyls by The Loyal Subjects

I've got another review of one of the cool Game of Thrones Action Vinyls from The Loyal Subjects and this time it's a White Walker! The Loyal Subjects recently sent me a box of Action Vinyls to check out and since it's Black Friday and time for Christmas shopping (admit it, some of y'all are reading this in the holding tank because you sucker punched someone in the gut at Wal-Mart this morning at 3am over the last $5 DVD copy of Detective Pikachu) I'm suggesting you check these little guys out as stocking stuffers. They come in cool little boxes and slip right in to a stocking or a small gift bag easily. Lots of places sell these, so you should be able to find someone who has them in stock. Let's check out the White Walker after the break...

 The Facts:

Height: 3 1/2 inches

Articulation: Swivel ankles, hinged knees, balljointed hips, balljointed waist, balljointed mid-torso, double balljointed shoulders, swivel wrists, and a balljointed head

 Accessories: Ice spear and bio-card.

Non-Scalper Price: $13- $15 dollars

The Positives:

*The White Walker's a creepy looking guy and The Loyal Subjects did a nice job capturing the mummy-like appearance of this guy. The colors are good and the paintwork, while minimal, is clean. The White Walker's not wearing much clothing (the cold never bothered him, anyway) but his loincloth is a separate piece that hangs over his waist.

* Piercing blue eyes? Check! Wispy white hair? Check! Emaciated looking appearance? Check! This guy looks exactly like you'd expect and is ready to creep out the rest of your Game of Thrones Action Vinyls. Hope you've got your Valerian steel ready.

* The Loyal Subjects really have added a lot of articulation into these figures and while not every joint has a great range of motion, there still is enough articulation to have fun with these. You can get some cool poses or just fiddle around with the White Walker if you're kind of half watching TV or something. He's pretty sturdy, too!

 * The White Walker comes with a spear with an icy blue point. It has multiple paint apps (the wrappings are a lighter brown while the wooden shaft is darker) and is fits really well in either of the figure's hands.

 * To add a bit more personalization and fun to each release The Loyal Subjects adds a bio card. It's a cool little extra that features a few little details about the White Walker as well as a picture of all of the figures in the series.
The White Walker is a pretty cool little figure. He's got a great sculpt for such a small toy, more articulation than you would expect, and a well made accessory. These guys are neat little collectibles and if you're looking for the White Walker, he shouldn't be too hard to find as he's packed 2 per case of 12. This guy is a Great little figure. The Loyal Subjects has a retailer list, so check that out to pick some of these up. They're quite cool and they're really getting into more and more licenses, including Street Fighter, Ghostbusters, and WWE.

This is the first White Walker I've reviewed. For more Game of Thrones Action Vinyls, check out the following:
