The Positives:
* While the head looks just like the standard He-Man bag clip, the Battle Armor He-Man has a completely new "body sculpt" depicting his epic Battle Armor. I love how the details look (they're all "etched" into the rubbery figure), particularly the highlights on He-Man's belt. Also, he's toting the ax, which is my favorite of He-Man's weapons. It looks so cool!
* Rather than having a metal key-ring, these have a plastic clip. They're marketed as bag clips, so I guess the intention is to display them on a backpack or satchel of sorts. I've actually been hanging them from screw in hooks which are screwed into the front edges of one of my display shelves. Also, check out armor details on He-Man's back. You can even see that he's got the larger bracer on his left wrist!
Battle Armor He-Man is my favorite clip in the collection. I love the design and details in this little guy! While they're blind bagged (with a cardboard sleeve around them to make it harder to tell who you're getting), which I don't like, these are definitely unusual little MOTU collectibles that kind of remind me of the old Zipper Clips from the 1980s. I love seeing the fun, colorful MOTU crew in a variety of mediums and the Monogram International bag clips deliver for me. They're perhaps a bit pricey for what they are but this guy absolutely rocks. He's a Great and a 1/2 little figure and the winner of the line!
He-Man/ Prince Adam is one of my favorite characters and I've reviewed so many action figures and toys based on him that he has his own review archive. Check out Fabulous Secret Powers for an abundance of He-Man reviews!
