Minifigure Review: Killer Croc from DC Comics- Batman Tiny Mights by CultureFly

I'm still slowly making my way through some of CultureFly's DC Comics-Batman Tiny Mights and today's miniature star is Killer Croc. Croc's usually a big boy and while he's a decent sized minifigure, he's smaller than any other Killer Croc toy that I own. These guys are so M.U.S.C.L.E.-like that it's near impossible to resists them, and Waylon Jones really captures the feel of that classic toyline. A wrestling crocodile man? He works great as a DC Comics mini, a M.U.S.C.L.E. wrestler, or even a Monster in My Pocket piece. I ended up with five different versions of him in the set I ordered from CultureFly, including the green glitter and glow-in-the-dark variants. Ready to check out Killer Croc? Then join me after the break...

The Facts:

Height: 1 and 3/4ths inches

Non-Scalper Price: $5-$6 dollars for 3 figures and a plastic Batmobile case

The Positives:

* When you look at the grey version of this minifigure you can really see how amazing the sculpt actually is. Check out the detail in the scales on his chest. These are some of the best minifigures I've seen in quite some time. Everything is really crisp and clear. This is a fantastic evergreen version of Killer Croc! I'm not a painter but I bet creative folks who are could do some wonderful things with their minis.

* Here's a shot of the two unique variants (glittery green and glow-in-the-dark) from the pack to show off their colors. While Croc isn't much taller than the other figures, he's definitely built and pretty wide. Culture Fly has really nailed the aesthetic of the M.U.S.C.L.E. line by making the fists on these guys oversized. He looks ready to pummel someone!

* These sets come in a little plastic Batmobile with a plastic wrap around the middle. The Batmobile splits in half, so you can use it for storing little trinkets or accessories. It's a neat idea and the fact that it's translucent means you can look through it (if you find these in stores) to identify the figures you need.

Killer Croc is another excellent minifigure from this series. Who doesn't love Killer Croc? Now I have a small army of him! While the glittery green version might be the most desired since it matches Croc's colors, I personally like the level of detail and how neat the grey version looks. Ol' Waylon looks ready for action! I really hope we see a second series of these because CultureFly seems to know how to produce this style of minifigure perfectly. Killer Croc is an Epic minifigure!
