Toy Bloggers United: Win Free Stuff From Our First Contest!!!

Ready to win some cool, crazy stuff? Like an awesome box of swag from a group of hard core, dedicated collectors? Then check out this great contest sponsored by Toy Bloggers United. We're kind of like one of those musical supergroups (y'know, the Traveling Wilburys or the Highway Men) except we blog about toys. An awesome prize package has been created from donations given by all of these awesome sites: Cool and Collected, The Harvey Mercheum, The Toy Box, Toyriffic, and me, your old friend Barbecue17 at Action Figure Barbecue. Who knows what you'll get? It's sure to be pretty interesting, though! Details after the break...

So, how do you win? Simple: Leave a comment at The Toy Box contest page with your name or pseudonym. That's it! It's so easy that anyone with internet access and 2nd grade reading skills could do it! Once the contest it over (it runs from today, Feb 23rd, 2015 through 11:59 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2015. There's a limit of one entry per person, FYI.

To claim your prize just check out the sites listed above on March 4th at 2pm. If you see your name announced simply contact The Toy Box staff at thetoybox1138@gmail.com. You'll have 24 hours to claim your prize and we'll have to pick someone else. They'll have 24 hours to respond as well.

Unfortunately, right now the contest is only open to residents of the United States due to the shipping costs of this giant box of swag. We'll work on that in the future!

But please, leave a comment with your name or internet alias at The Toy Box and check out these other great participating sites:
Cool and Collected
The Harvey Mercheum
The Toy Box
Toyriffic

    1. Just contact the Toy Box and let them know you're interested. Maybe Canada can get a pass for the next go-around in the contest, particularly if you're involved. I've never found shipping stuff to Canada to be too terribly expensive. And we don't want anyone to feel cold and alone!

When I was typing this post up based on the contest rules, I almost was going to write (Sorry Cal!) after the bit about being open to US residents only, but I figured too many folks wouldn't get the reference.

  3. No, I don't need to be a part of something that would make things difficult. And I have a reason to bitch about something. I complain the same way I can't get HULU up here or any clips from any NBC or Comedy Central shows. Can't even watch the videos. Don't get me started on the Superbowl commercials. I know they are mostly crap but I hate being denied. It must be like what North Korea feels like.

    1. Cal, you're actually the first person who came to my mind as well when I posted the contest. I'm absolutley willing to make an exception for you to enter the contest. Please feel free to head over to the link and throw your name in.
