Hasbro staggered the release of the Bad Batch members with Echo and Omega being the last to show up. I'm not currently planning to pick up Omega at the moment as I'm getting rather particular with my Black Series purchases but Echo was a must have. I love the look of the guys of Clone Force 99 and bring Echo back into the story as part of the team was a fantastic idea. While Tech is the, you know, the Tech guy, Echo is more like a human-droid hybrid, so he kind of offers up a separate set of skills. He's legitimately a cyborg thanks to the evil machinations of Wat Tambor, Admiral Trench, and their Separatist lackeys. While the Black Series has been filled with repaints lately, CT-1409 shows what Hasbro can do when they build a figure from the ground up. He's incredible. I missed out on the Target Clone Wars figures but I'm glad to at least have tracked down this version of Echo. Let's check him out after the break...

Action Figure Review: Quake Arms from Final Faction by Greenbrier International
This is my penultimate review covering the first series of Final Faction toys from 2020! I've looked at almost everything else and so my review archive for Final Faction stuff is nearly complete. Today I'm checking out one more of the Kharn accessory sets: Quake Arms! This set comes with one traditional
gun/ blaster styled accessory and two backpacks that can fit on the back of Drones, Brutes, and characters like Krepitus or Diabol. The accessory packs are sold separately but they really are key to making the Final Faction figures more impressive. I really like the model Dollar Tree is using here to keep these figures affordable and at the standard price point as it allows for a lot of flexibility. This kit alone could give your gear two or three Kharn figures, depending on how you want to gear them up. At the $1-$1.25 price point, that's a pretty swell deal. Let's take a look at the Quake Arms after the break and see what Alpha Team 1 has to avoid out there on the battlefield.

Action Figure Review: Haunt from Spawn by McFarlane Toys
I'm only a little bit familiar with Haunt, Todd McFarlane and Robert Kirkman's supernatural superhero, who is now part of the Spawn Universe comics. The figure looked really cool, though, and I'm interested in checking out the original series, so I went ahead and picked Haunt up. Haunt is part of the newest series of Spawn figures which seems to be trickling out little by little rather than coming out all at one time. Haunt's titular comic book series debuted in 2009 and tells the tale of Daniel Kilgore, a Catholic priest who can merge with the spirit of his deceased brother, a former secret agent. When they join together they form Haunt, an ectoplasm powered superhero. Wild stuff. Let's take a look at Haunt after the break...

Action Figure Review: Nuclear Spawn from Spawn by McFarlane Toys
Hey! Another classic Spawn review! On my most recent trip to Gamers Alley in Gastonia, NC I picked up another classic Spawn figure: Nuclear Spawn. This is another one that I always kind of liked but never owned. Nuclear Spawn was released in series 5 in 1996 during the period when McFarlane was still sticking to a more traditional action figure style for the line. You know, classic stances, traditional articulation, and lots of accessories and action figures. Nuclear Spawn is a pretty cool variant in that he sort of looks like a post-apocalyptic wanderer out of the Road Warrior or something. Does Spawn really need breathing gear though if he's going into the sewers or into areas with mutants and radiation? I guess so. Let's take a look at Nuclear Spawn after the break...

Action Figure Review: Death Watch Mandalorian from Star Wars: The Black Series Phase IV by Hasbro
I'm a sucker for Mandalorians and I was pretty excited to pick up the Death Watch Mandalorian from the most recent series of Star Wars: The Black Series figures. So, who is this guy? This appears to be a member of Death Watch similar to the unnamed Mandalorian who rescued the young Din Djarin on the planet Aq Vetina. So far this character doesn't have a name but since he's a cool looking Mandalorian who played a significant role in Din Djarin's life and also doubles as an army builder, Hasbro went ahead and released him. He's a great figure with a fantastic sculpt that, surprisingly, seems to be completely new. Seriously, he seems completely unique from the other Mandalorians released in the line. I'm impressed Hasbro went all out for a more minor character but I guess they'll end up getting more use out of this with repaints and such. Let's take a look at the Death Watch Mandalorian after the break...

Action Figure Review: Steel from Final Faction by Greenbrier International
I've been steadily making my way through the first series of Final Faction figures from 2020 and today I'm finally wrapping up the last of the figures with a review of Steel (I've still got a few accessory sets to review, however). Sgt. Steel is an African pilot who handles the air support for Alpha Team 1 in their battle against the Kharn. He's a prominent part of both the cartoons and the comic book and a new accessory set, the Dragonfly, is currently being releases that is designed just for him. Ready to take a look at Steel? Then join me after the break...

Action Figure Review: Jigsaw from Marvel Legends Series: Super Villains by Hasbro
Jigsaw is the most recent Walgreens exclusive Marvel Legends figure and I was able to order him off of their website quite easily. Not only does Jigsaw's presence add another villain to your shelf but he also gives the Punisher a nemesis. Yeah, the Punisher has fought a lot of villains, but Jigsaw is probably more closely associated with Frank Castle's list of villains than that of any other hero. Jigsaw was released by Toy Biz (with a variant) but that was back in 2006 so a redo was definitely in order. Walgreens sure is getting some good selections for their Super Villains exclusives this year. First Baron Zemo and now Jigsaw. I wonder who will be next? Ready to check out another classic Marvel villain? Then join me after the break...
