Action Figure Review: Frozen Teela from Masters of the Universe by Super7

 Remember Crystal Man-At-Arms from last week? Well, now we get his daughter, Frozen Teela! She's not related upcoming Frozen II, though (man, I am so flipping excited for that movie!) but is instead a variant of the standard Teela figure based on an episode of the Filmation animated series. In the 76th episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, "The Ice Age Cometh," Teela gets frozen by Icer, so that's where this very scene specific variant comes from. Mattel made Icer in the Masters of the Universe Classics line but, sadly, it doesn't look like Super7 is going to get to him in their neo-vintage Masters of the Universe line. Re-Halloween Special: Shaggy and the Headless Horseman from Scooby-Doo!: 50 Years by Character Options

 Zoinks! How about a Scooby-Doo review for the Re-Halloween season! 2019 marked 50 years since the premiere of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? on September 13th, 1969 and to celebrate Character Options re-released a number of Scooby-Doo figures as Wal-Mart exclusives. I'm not an expert on Scooby-Doo action figures but I know that both of these figures have been released before. It seems like these figures get released every year or so in different combinations (the Headless Horseman has come with Scooby-Doo himself before). I've never picked any of these up before although I think I've owned this Shaggy before after finding him at a flea market or something. The Headless Horseman was what sold this pack, though. Look to the left or to the right and you'll realize I have a think for pumpkin headed characters! They're also incredibly inexpensive at around $6 bucks for a pack of 2 figures. Crazy, right? Action Figure Review: Beast Boy from DC Comics Multiverse by Mattel

    Today I'm checking out another figure from Mattel's DC Comics Multiverse line but it's one from earlier this year: Beast Boy! Beast Boy is from the Ninja Batman Collect & Connect series (the same as Starfire) and, like her, is another figure who was originally released in DC Universe Classics. I owned the DCUC Beast Boy at one point but I actually traded him away many years ago to pick up some MOTUC stuff I was missing. Since then Beast Boy has become one of the more difficult to track down DCUC figures, so it's nice to have another chance at the character. I like this version of Beast Boy much better, too. Re-Halloween Special: Pack B (Teal) from Keshi Surprise: The Worst by Super7

    Ready to complete the Keshi Surprise series of minifigures based on series 2 of The Worst? Then let's do it! Today's series has three more cool figures from Super7 that were available earlier this year. I've been sitting on them for a few months as I figured they'd make a refreshing post-Halloween treat and a great way to kick off the Re-Halloween season. Today's three pack includes Cortex Commander, the brains of the operation, the hairy hell on wheels and star of international mega movie franchise that is Werewolf Biker, and the slithering siren Shedusa. Re-Halloween Special: Pack A (Teal) from Keshi Surprise: The Worst by Super7

    Guess what? Only 7 days until Re-Halloween! Yes, if you've been around Action Figure Barbecue or The Epic Review for any length of time then you're surely familiar with Re-Halloween. If not, then you'd better catch up!  Since this year's Halloween countdown,The Scream of 31 Days of Toy Terror, as themed around movie characters, I actually have some cool stuff I've picked up since August to show off. Today I'm starting off with a group of the coolest, spookiest, meanest minifigures around: The Worst! Back in August I picked up both sets of the new Keshi Surprise minifigures from Super7 based on the characters from series 2 of The Worst. Super7 released multiple colorways of the characters from series 1 under the M.U.S.C.L.E. brand but now they're using the Keshi Surprise brand for these. The figures look the same, though, so no worries there. Let's eat some Halloween candy and check out the terrifying trio of Captain Deadstar, Frankenghost, and Red Tiger after the break...

The Scream of 31 Days of Toy Terror: Ultimate Michael Myers (Halloween 2) from Halloween by NECA

 Happy Halloween 2019! I hope you have some incredible plans today and make the most of this fun, spooky day! Today I'm very excited to check out not just one of my most anticipated action figures of the Halloween 2019 season but one of my most anticipated figures of 2019 overall: Michael Myers from Halloween II! Back in the mid 2000s NECA did release a few action figures based off of the original Halloween and Rob Zombie's 2007 remake, but between then and 2019 NECA has been pretty quiet on the Halloween front. Things have changed, though, and now we have action figures from 2018's Halloween an 1981's Halloween II with figures coming from Halloween III: Season of the Witch. NECA has been very faithful here, definitely ensuring that this is a Halloween II Michael Myers and not a figure from the original film (although I hope they are able to release some figures from that film soon). With two more sequels scheduled for Halloween 2020 and 2021, the Halloween franchise is in a great place right now and NECA can hopefully get busy bringing us some more Ultimate goodness. Action Figure Review: Crystal Man-At-Arms from Masters of the Universe by Super7

    Is this the Invisible Man-At-Arms? Nope! It's Crystal Man-At-Arms from Super7's vintage styled Masters of the Universe line. I just finished looking at series 3 at the beginning of the week and now I'm checking out the small series of "statue" figures that were released between series 3 and series 4. This is really just a translucent version of the Filmation styled Man-At-Arms figure released earlier this year, but it's not just a variant for the sake of being a variant: Man-At-Arms did actually get turned into a crystal statue in the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode "The Dragon's Gift" (he also got turned into a crystal statue in the minicomic based on the episode). It's a slightly obscure variant, but it is kind of fun and the figure looks really cool. Let's take a look at this crystal clear version of Duncan after the break...
