Action Figure Review: Cosmo #1207 from POP! Marvel by Funko

 

  

   "I knew you believed I am a good dog!"

   I loved Cosmo so much in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 that I had to pick up a Funko POP! of her as well. She's just too cute not to have her on the shelf. You can never have too many good dogs hanging around, right? I love Cosmo's personality in the movie and how aggrieved she was about being called a bad dog and how adamant she was about getting Kraglin to take it back. Heck, she was less bothered that the Russians launched her into space and expected her to perish than by Kraglin's comment. She's just so lovable! Let's take a quick look at Cosmo, an excellent and very good dog, after the break...

The Facts:

Height: 3 1/18ths inches

Articulation: Bobbling head

Accessories: None

Non-Scalper Price: $12- $13 dollars

The Positives:

* Like the Star Wars POP! vinyls, the Marvel POP! figures are technically bobbleheads (it's a licensing issue or something), though they don't bobble very much. The head does have a bit of a tilt but it also rotates easily so you can pose the figure a bit. She can look in any direction for some delicious treats. 

* Cosmo is sculpted a sitting position, just like the good dog she is, and she's wearing her Soviet space suit. There are quite a few little painted details on there, though it's still simplified from the movie costume. She has more detail than the suit on the Epic Heroes Cosmo, though.

* How adorable is Cosmo? Very, very adorable. Look at those ears! And that nose! And that tongue! She's such a cute pup. I'm totally a dog person, if you can't tell. 

* Check out that fluffy tail! So cute!

   Cosmo is a very adorable POP! vinyl and a fun little companion for your desk, shelf, or wherever you need a talking Russian space dog with incredible powers. There's a flocked Cosmo out there as well, but she's exclusive to Hot Topic and I don't have one of those near me. Still, I'm plenty happy with this one. She's a Good and a 1/2 POP! vinyl in my book. Need a space dog for your collection or just another little dog curio for someone as a gift? I'm sure Cosmo would make anyone smile. She is a very good dog, after all.
