Did anyone get a chance to check this out? It was just something I kind of did on a whim. I've wanted to try it for a bit. I just used my laptop's webcam so the video quality isn't that great. Just a fun little side effort.
Ah, I miss the old days of homebrew videos, where you just talked about the product, rather than how great your content is andpleaselikeandsubscribe. Seeing this old school video, you do have to watch end to end, and it was most enjoyable (though saying the Mummy is better than Van Helsing is like saying a broken leg is better than a UTI. Nobody sane should want either).
Thank you for your kind words! I've been wanting to do some videos for a bit just because I like the free format and talking about whatever comes to mind. I've done some posts over the years called Barbecue's Bonfire that were just about whatever random things I was interested in that week and this might be the new iteration of them.
Also, who doesn't like the 1999 The Mummy? I'm a huge old school Universal Monsters fan and even I love that movie to death. One of the best adventure movies ever made in my opinion.
A good departure, and I hope to see more soon. DO NOT try to polish it - look at what happens when you give Ridley Scott too much money, he makes rubbish like Gladiator II or Prometheus. Starve that artist
I'm not planning to polish much. I may try a better camera than my built in laptop camera just so I can have access to my computer and a better angle while recording. I already have a decent microphone so I might pull it out. I do not see myself asking folks to "hit like & subscribe" in the near future, though. I don't have much desire to be a professional Youtuber.
